The mighty Red River transforms yearly into an amazing place to cast your lure in an attempt to catch a Master Angler. The seasons change, but the ability to fish does not! Enjoy Manitoba’s winter as you sit on top of the Red River waiting for your prize catch.
The Lockport Ice Fishing Village is host to a community geared towards ice fishing made easy with accessible roadways to find your perfect catch! Weather permitting, the Village will be open from early January until mid-March. The Ice Village boasts multiple ploughed roadways and 27 bays (to start). Each bay will host 3 to 4 ice shacks. Join us early to secure a spot for you and your friends.
